a fine hotel in Lindvallen near Sälen. Sälen is a large ski resort that is busy during the winter season. I was there in the summer. Almost everything had closed, the place seemed extinct. How wonderful that then Olarsgården has opened!
I had a small, very quiet room. The restaurant offers fine dining and eight different local beers from a Sälener brewery (I've tried them all, delicious!). You even get a holsten!
For me, Olarsgården was a place of luxury for rest and relaxation on my transition from Vasaloppsleden to Southern Kungsleden.
