The Middelaldersenter was built in 1994 for the film adaptation of the novel "Kirstin Lavranstochter - the wreath" by Sigrid Undset. The courtyard consists of 16 houses and a stave church, which is a rebuilt copy of the Film Church, which had to be burned down according to the bookstore.
