If you drive up the Borntal from the cycle path between Eisenach and Hörschel in the direction of Rennsteig, you will reach the "Schöner Aussicht" lookout point.
However, you have to descend a few meters from the Borntal ascent to be able to experience a view towards Eisenach. Best time in winter and spring, as the trees block the view in summer and autumn.translated by
