Limesblick Öhringen Observation Tower

Very nice view over Öhringen and along the Limes to the north and south.

Here also leads a nice way to Wadern or cycling

Two things are particularly great about the Limes-Blick Öhringen: firstly, the all-round panoramic view is sensational and secondly (if you want to take an even further look) the panoramic binoculars are free. The Swabians are happy.
In order to make it possible to experience the course of the famous UNESCO World Heritage Limes, the border wall of the former Roman Empire, in the Hohenlohe holiday region, the communities of Zweiflingen, Öhringen and Pfedelbach have jointly launched the “Limes Blicke” project.
A so-called Limes view was built in all three communities, which together make it possible to see from the Pfahldöbel near Zweiflingen across the Öhringer Basin to the edge of a slope near Pfedelbach.
