Good bike path / road around the start / end of the runway at BER Airport.
The southern, straight section of the road offers a nice short but crisp climb for top speed or climbing attempts.
If flight operations really start here at some point, you will have a nice view of the aircraft taking off / landing, but certainly not before 2019 ;-)

Good way, you can record a bit speed when you drive down :))

A low-traffic, with super covering equipped track at the airfield.

Very nice to drive. You can really set the pace!
Not recommended in blazing sun and heat !!!

Cycling along the southern boundary is an absolute delight. Coming from the L 75 (road between Selchow and Glasow), you have the asphalt racing track in front of you, the runway and operating building of the BER on the left, the green landscape on the right. For users of racing bikes or other sports bikes with very narrow tires, it is advisable to take the Mittenwalder Straße junction, as the asphalting ends there. For everyone else, the comfort zone ends when it comes to the surface, and the decision - whether to continue straight ahead or not - should be made dependent on the current condition of the ground and the weather, because as the route progresses, the ground becomes increasingly uneven and, when wet, deeper. Nevertheless, the route remains exciting and interesting.

The route as such is a real treat. Coming from the L 75 (road zw, Selchow and Glasow) you have the paved slope in front of you, on the left the new runways with tower and company buildings, on the right the beautiful green landscape. Everything flies by too quickly, and at the latest at the Mittenwalder Straße junction the decision must be made: turn right or straight ahead. The latter should only affect users of slightly wider tires, as the road surface at the end of the asphalt road is deceptive, since the surface can become more undulating with increasing distance and, depending on the weather, also become deep and muddy. There is no alternative, however, if you intend to walk around the airport site.

Foresight guaranteed here on the east side of the airport!

Quite little-used road that gives cyclists a long view of the BER; only a few rest areas on the side - so feel free to use the offered ones.

It feels long, you think you are more than half the way but unfortunately only 25% of the runway is finished. The route is good for speed driving, but beware there is unfortunately a lot of fast traffic on this road

here you can accelerate easily navigable path interesting view

Unfortunately, the condition of the path is mostly poor, and the cycle paths may also conform to standards, but are not cyclist-friendly
