The Roman Catholic branch church of Pyrawang, dedicated to St. Peter, is located in the Pyrawang district on the Danube in the municipality of Esternberg in the Schärding district of Upper Austria. Since January 1, 2023, Esternberg has been one of 12 parishes within the Schärding parish of the Diocese of Linz. The building is a listed building. The exact date of construction of the church is unknown. It is assumed that St. Peter's Church was built before the Esternberg parish church. According to bone finds, there used to be a cemetery near the church.

The branch church in Pyrawang, beautifully situated directly on the Danube, is a St. Peter's Church and indicates an earlier construction period. During interior restoration in 1982, remnants of a High Gothic wall painting were discovered and uncovered in the chancel and on both sides of the nave. This makes the church in Pyrawang one of the few buildings in Upper Austria with preserved 14th-century wall paintings.
