The upper Danube valley is a piece of nature that you should definitely see. The road is wonderful, leads past high cliffs and in several places with short tunnels right through it.
However, this is not an insider tip, and of course also very popular with car and motorcycle day trippers. It is possible to switch to the bike path, but then you miss the wonderful rocky passages of the road.May 31, 2021
A fantastic landscape that you should basically cycle through at least twice, because you pass these impressive rock faces on the road, but you have to share the road with many other road users. The cycle path is a little quieter and the landscape has its own special charm here too.
