Stocksee is located on a private lake (207 ha, 30 m depth, height 28 m above sea level), partially in the nature reserve Mittlerer Stocksee and surroundings, with drinking water quality. There is a campsite right on the lake. Driving on the lake is not permitted with motor boats and water sports equipment. Fishing licenses are available for fishing.
The idyllic swimming area with playground, sandy beach, lawn and bathing jetty is located in the village on Seestrasse.
