A trullo is a shelter that can be found in the Rhine-Hessian vineyards. Its construction is attributed to Italian migrant workers in the 18th century. They are in the tradition of the Apulian trulli, which can be found in the town of Alberobello. However, this theory is not 100% proven.
Next to the Dalsheimer Trullo, a viewing platform was built that offers views of the Odenwald and far beyond Heidelberg.
