The slope begins in Malsch at the roundabout next to the St. Cyriak Church and is moderate until the end of town with about 5% slope. From the end of the village, two steeper ramps alternate with about 12 and 10 percent and a short section with 6-8%. After about half of the climb you drive through a left turn, here it is short term 13-15% uphill. On the next kilometer it is now constant at 10 to 12% up the mountain. Shortly before the turnoff to Völkersbach the slope decreases. It follows a short ramp with an average of just under 10%. Once you have made it you are already on the plateau and leave the forest. About meadows you drive now the last 500 meters at very low slope to Freiolsheim.

The climb is great to ride, but it has nothing really special except for the 12% inclines that occur frequently.
