The Bergmer Chapel ultimately dates back to a storm at the end of the 17th century.
As a result, a St. John procession to a cross on the Bergmer was created. The current chapel was built between 1904 and 1906 as a successor to this cross. The Bergmer Chapel is very well maintained and worth a visit!

It is only a small section that can also be tackled as a walk. However, put on sturdy shoes, especially in rainy weather. The forest, which did not fall victim to the bark beetle, as many conifers grow there and no spruce trees, is rustic and an eye-catcher in every season.
