Heathland view at Heidschnuckenweg near Hermann-Löns-Stein

The Heidschuckenweg crosses a small but very beautiful heath area directly on the Hermann-Löns-Stein. Many benches invite you to take a break and information boards write something about the poet.

The 102 meter high Wietzer Berg rises gently on the road between Hermannsburg and Müden (Örtze). Only to be seen at a second glance: under the rolling hills of the heath hide some prehistoric burial mounds. A sign on the way gives more information.

It is only a relatively small heath area. Slightly hilly on the typical sand paths you can run your round.
At the parking lot there is a kiosk with indoor and outdoor seating, where you can get small meals.
Despite the small area, the image of the typical heath is served; even horse-drawn carriage rides are possible here.
