The "art.pinwheel." by the artist Julia Bichler is located south of Klederinger Strasse in the Unterlaa district in Vienna's 10th district of Favoriten, on the border with Kledering.

The new Viennese landmark in the south of Vienna was officially opened on November 24th, 2016. As part of a wind art competition organized by IG Windkraft, a jury selected the design by artist Julia Bichler from 400 works of art. The wind turbine from the wind power manufacturer Siemens is operated by Wien Energie.

The work on this project was carried out by the company Skyworkers Seehofer GmbH, the printer KINDLINGER and by M'CAPS. 400 foils had to be applied to the wind turbine over a total area of 600 square meters. Each foil was attached hanging from a rope, sometimes at a dizzying height.

With a height of 60 meters, a rotor diameter of 54 meters and an output of 1 MW, this wind turbine is one of the smaller wind power plants in Austria.
