The glass and mirror bow was founded in 1851 by Wilhelm Abele. The glass for this was supplied by the Seebachhütte. The glassworks existed until 1908. Since 1938, a power plant has been located in the former loop building.

The glass used to be cut in this little town, which was produced in one of the many glassworks on the Regen - that's what I read on an information board.
You can stop off or stay the night at the Hotel Seebachschleife. An ideal starting point for circular hikes.
