The old Sinn bridge Altengronau is frequently and in many sources mentions.
Not least, of course, on the website of the community.
However, information about the bridge itself is unfortunately in vain.
Anyway, my efforts were not successful.
The bridge is certainly quite old and probably always had an important meaning in the eventful history of the place, which goes back to Frankish times.
After the customs house is next door, the bridge was probably the border crossing to Bavaria.

Old Bridge and Customs House
In the 18th century, a toll had to be paid to cross the picturesque old bridge over the Sinn River. It was built in its current form in 1753 and bears the coat of arms of the Landgraves of Hesse-Kassel. The customs house on the main street also dates from this period.
