The old Sinn bridge Altengronau is frequently and in many sources mentions.

However, information about the bridge itself is unfortunately in vain.
Anyway, my efforts were not successful.
The bridge is certainly quite old and probably always had an important meaning in the eventful history of the place, which goes back to Frankish times.
After the customs house is next door, the bridge was probably the border crossing to Bavaria.

I am fascinated by old bridges. Anyone traveling on the highway must realize that all the bridges that were built after the war, so now 50, 60 years old, are being renewed. Not exactly an indication of German engineering. There are many bridges that have lasted much longer. Best example: the Roman bridge in Trier. The stands for 2000 years and there is a lot of traffic over it.
