The Wiesener Straße runs from the Partenstein district to Wiesbütt. It begins on old Churmainzian territory and leads - 23 km away from Lohrer Schloss - at the Waldhaus Weidmannsruh over the then state border into the electoral-Hessian area. The Wiesener Straße is largely preserved from the route and was not built over by forest roads. If you are on the Schneewittchenweg from Lohr, you will reach the Wiesener Straße via a ravine that leads up from Partenstein and hike through the entire length of the Wiesener Straße. Very worthwhile !!

Trade route already used in the early Middle Ages. Its significance is shown by its inclusion in the first German distance map from 1690. Next to it are several tracks in the forest, which prove the then high traffic volume. The hollow paths leading up from the village also document the busy use of the road.
