Hassia Kurhaus/Fountain Temple - Bad Vilbel 🚴♂️At the Kurhaus, which was built as a community center in the 1920s, with a pond adjacent, is also the fountain temple, a place for drinking. The drinking fountain temple is dominated by a female figure. She is said to gaze at the sun, is made of Carrara marble, and was created by the Roman artist Lombardi in 1868. In 1930, the Friedrich-Karl-Sprudel healing water was drilled into the drinking fountain temple by Dr. A. Vogelsberger. The fountain was not given its Doric columns until 1939, based on a design by the then Vilbel city architect Dörr. 🚴♂️ich-geh-wandern.de/kurpark-bad-vilbel
