Road Cycling Highlight
In 1901, the newly-built St.George's Church was inaugurated. The architect was the Wiesbadener Joseph Dormann, who died in 1905, a pupil of Max Meckel (inter alia, reconstruction of the Frankfurt Römer) from Freiburg. From a predecessor building (presumably Mauritius chapel in the same place) in 2001, buried in the ground cover plate with the Christ corpus of a late Gothic Entombel group from the period shortly after 1400 were discovered with the two heads of surrounding saints.
