Quiet, right in the forest, we are approx. 800 m away from the Rennsteig, Germany's most famous high-altitude trail on the ridge of the Thuringian Forest.
From here you can put on your hiking boots directly in front of the hotel or you can easily explore all the sights in Erfurt, Weimar, Oberhof or the Wartburg near Eisenach by car within a very short time.
