The church was built of fieldstone on a rectangular floor plan. Structural alterations were made in 1766. Stepped buttresses are located at the corners and to the right of the south portal. There are three segmental-arched windows on each side. The roof of the plastered building is hipped at the east gable.Inside, the church has a flat beamed ceiling. A panel painting from 1707 depicts Jesus Christ in Gethsemane. The organ was built around the middle of the 19th century in the workshop of Friedrich Albert Mehmel.A freestanding bell cage is located in the churchyard.
