Di Sennalpe Ornach is located at 1,390m, directly below the middle station of the Hörnerbahn. Steffi and Erwin Höchenberger manage the alp with their daughter Lina.
The Alpe Ornach is a alpine pasture where around 40 dairy cows spend the summer in the Alps. Herdsman Erwin handcrafts mountain cheese, semi-hard cheese, herbal cheese and butter from around 600 liters of milk a day. When visiting the Alpe Ornach, the cheese cellar can also be visited on occasion. On the large sun terrace with a wonderful view of the Allgäu mountains, you can enjoy hearty snacks every day with homemade mountain cheese, ham and bacon from the alpine pigs, as well as coffee and homemade cakes. There is also a lot to discover for the little guests. A small playground, goats, rabbits, chickens and a cat, and of course the 40 dairy cows.
