For the ascent from Großbottwar to Neuwirtshaus or Völkleshofen, we recommend starting at the end of the village in the direction of Backnang. The vineyard path is long and has somewhat steeper sections. In autumn it is most beautiful when the vines show colorful autumn leaves. The view back over Großbottwar and towards the west also offers a great panorama. Alternative ascent (but also very steep in places) is via the Harzberghäusle.
