There's an Alp Mora bus from Trin that runs from July to September. So it's best to walk up here before or after, then you'll practically be alone.

Long ago, the Maliensbach stream, searching for a path through the rock, carved out these depressions, known as whirlpools. A unique natural spectacle at 2,100 meters, in which—when the stream is low—you can even swim.

Glacier Potholes - Alp Mora, Trin
The Maliensbach stream, which originates on the Trin Alp Mora (1,900 m above sea level), has been rotating large stones, sand, and gravel around its axis in the same place for hundreds of years. This has resulted in centuries of natural bathtubs (glacier potholes). Each "glacier pothole" is unique in its shape, appearance, and depth. Some are small and almost circular, while others are elliptical and large enough to bathe in. The largest and most beautiful collection of "glacier potholes" can be found at the Mutta Sura, where the nearly 20 glacial potholes are easily accessible.During the summer months, the crystal-clear water in these potholes warms up and invites young and old to enjoy a wonderful natural bath. The "glacier potholes" are always filled with water, even when the Maliensbach stream is empty! Text: Municipal Administration, 7014 Trin
