Hiking
The elongated, steeply rising and descending Behlengraben is a prehistoric gorge from the last ice age and serves as a natural drainage point for the amounts of rain that pour down from the nearby mountain, the Schimmelkopf. This ridge is one of the highest elevations in the region and, together with the Dollberg, is the highest point in the Saarland. The Behlengraben makes it possible to experience the geology and history of the earth vividly.
