Hiking and Leisure
Numerous well-marked hiking trails crisscross the Schwarzwasser Valley and invite you to explore the region on foot. Like the entire Ore Mountains, the Schwarzwasser Valley is steeped in a long mining history. Although mining was less dominant here than in other parts of the mountains, traces of it can still be found. The water power of the Schwarzwasser River was also used to power mills and hammer mills.
