The lake belongs to the so-called water lily ponds. These ponds was years ago
artificially created by foresters as a food biotope for various birds. In the meantime, the drought is causing the lakes to silt up.

Hiking
Ducks, geese, herons and other animals also feel very comfortable at the ponds. They offer one or the other natural spectacle:
In March, for example, hundreds of toads migrate to the pond, and in April, thousands of small tadpoles populate the water. Enough to eat for birds and fish or simply to see the pond turn black from the little animals that all want to become a frog.
