Tips

  • One of the most beautiful and magical excursions of all the Sibillini, do not miss it!

  • The route arrives on the summit of Monte Sibilla which has always evoked fantastic legends related to its cave so inaccessible and shrouded in mystery. The Sibyl is in fact also the mountain symbol of the Mother Earth, where knights errant came from all over Europe in the Middle Ages and where young people went to dream, because there dreams took on a special meaning, perhaps for the charm of its landscapes or perhaps for the presence of bewitching fairies.

Hiking trail (difficulty E) which on the Sibilla crest presents a passage that requires minimal technical skill (small passage on rocks through a chain). Route always exposed to the sun and devoid of points for water supply. Accessible all year round (in winter only in the absence of snow due to the high risk of avalanches). Not suitable for those suffering from vertigo and for those who are in the first mountain experience.
