The limestone quarry can be seen from the street. It presents itself as a geological phenomenon. Strong layer faults in the quarry testify to enormous earth movements in the Jura geological age (approx. 135 million years ago). The existing lime kiln is a testimony to a long-forgotten lime distillery.
