In 1845, the dilapidated church was demolished and replaced by a new-gothic brick-built new building from 1846/47 by architect Theodor Eggers. The simple form of a rural hall church has been retained. The interior is illuminated by two large windows with pointed arches and two small pointed arch windows. The interior is designed in a neo-Gothic style and equipped with church chairs, pulpit and organ brochure. From the previous building six coat of arms window panes with the name of the coat of arms of the church inspectors of the 18th century have been preserved. The church has been a listed building since 1973.
