The Poltnik mill in Feistritz followed urban models. As early as 1524, the miller Jurij PODLOPNIKH (today POLTNIK) had to pay the Bleiburg rulers 23 pfennigs for his mill. In 1535 he was allowed to grind for the subjects of the Sonnegg lordship in the Feistritz area and in 1571 he owned a mill and a stamp. In addition, he had to provide fifteen eggs, a hen, a loaf of cheese and two quadruplets of oats a year.
