Fascinating ancient city in Pisidia at 1223 meters altitude.
Scenic the hammer. First you can see from the parking lot the necropolis in the high mountain, then, if you go up the mountain remains of the defensive wall and above the defensive wall a cart road that goes to the city center. In the city center you will find the ancient double-arched city gate, the library, temples and administrative buildings. But above all, the marble splendor of the forum, possibly dominated by a monumental gate. At least that is what the gigantic stone blocks with their magnificent ornaments and medusa heads suggest. The forum is only with caution to enter. The cisterns below the forum obviously collapse. A cistern has been invaded for years, the adjacent crumbling and already gives the view to the ground free.
I did not go to the theater and did not go to the necropolis. That comes with the next visit.
