The Wanne Observation Tower is one of the oldest steel lattice towers in the world. It was built in 1888 by the Observation Tower Cooperative on the 778-meter-high Wanne Hill east of Villingen, with the construction work being carried out by the Grüninger bell foundry in Villingen. From here, you can enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of Villingen-Schwenningen and the Baar district. Highly recommended.
