In the vicinity of Schillig, in the community of Wangerland, a 23 meter high lighthouse was built in 1875/77 by the company Borsig Berlin, which was replaced in 1961 by the striking yellow concrete pillar with round yellow lantern and flat lid with protruding collar. Together with the standing on the adjacent campsite Unterfeuer he formed a directional fire. The lighthouse essentially corresponds to the upper fire of Voslapp and Tossens.
