The Scheidseen are located in the middle of the impressive, high-Alpine mountain landscape of the Verwall Mountains at an altitude of approx. 2300 meters on the border between Tyrol and Vorarlberg and on the European watershed of the Danube and Rhine.
They are located directly below the Heilbronner Hütte, they may only be fished by full members of the Montafon Fishing Association or when accompanied by one.
