The Lanser See is an alpine moor lake with 70,000 m², of which approx. 35,000 m² is water. The lake is fed by groundwater as well as by the nearby water lily pond (= Lanser Moor), which is under nature protection.

Beautiful water lily blooms from June to July.

The infrastructure of the Lanser See includes a children's playground with a shallow children's pool in the lake, diving platform, "magic island" in the middle of the lake, ball playground, restaurant and a very romantic and quietly located mixed nudist area.
