Here there were four shelters, which were somewhat spread out over the land bridge. Three shelters were directly on the water and one was slightly above on an elevation.
The shelters offer not only hikers shelter but are also highly sought after by canoeists, who are very frequently out and about here.
Unfortunately, all the shelters burned down in April 2019. However, the spot is still suitable for camping if you don't need a shelter. There is also no firewood available. You have to look for your firewood in nature here.
