The Opelsteg runs along the former Opelhafen. Previously this area was inaccessible. The Opel factory had to be bypassed extensively via Mainzer Strasse. The Opelsteg is a real highlight, which always offers new insights due to its proximity to the water.

The Opelsteg runs 440 meters along the Main. It has a width of 2.50 meters. The jetty is supported on the river side by pillars that were rammed into the Main. On the other side, the jetty is supported by the quay wall. So over the water ... that's something!
