Beautiful landscape an a fantastic hike up to Pont de Goi. Check my Youtube video:
It is the waterfall at the place where the Riu de les Hortes begins. In a more generic way, this is also the name of the stretch of river immediately preceding it, filled with a series of puddles and small jumps.

More than half a century ago, an unfortunate intervention that sought to retain the sediments of the river destroyed the primitive jump, all made of pumice stone, which was replaced by a stone dike that has never retained any sediment because at the first flood it be completely filled with gravel, and that damaged one of the most picturesque places in the entire river. The water has quickly coated the entire wall where it descends with rough, and only a couple of side walls, which should be removed, show some stones that are not in place and prevent the water from completely disguising the destruction.

Les Tolls de Les Tosques – proper name for the space that precedes the jump – is one of the most colorful and most visited spaces in the entire river to take a refreshing swim there, especially in summer, and to enjoy the peace that breathes the place. It is worth saying that after the flooding of Sant Paulí in 1994, this whole area was destroyed, unrecognizable but equally beautiful. There was a small cave full of ferns of the Adiantum genus that disappeared and that we all miss, but in its place the water continues to flow and now we can enjoy a different space.
