Tips
The Werbeliner See is a 450 hectare remainder lake, which was created by flooding from the former mining site Delitzsch-Südwest. In 1993, the open pit was shut down, from 1998 to 2010 flooding by the New Luppe.

The Werbeliner See is a highlight par excellence. Great and beautiful lake. More and more cyclists, hikers and bathers arrive in summer. On tours between Delitzsch and Leipzig one always comes over here.
