The Ángel Orús refuge is located at an altitude of 2,150 metres and is perfect for starting the climb to Posets Peak.

The refuge is located in the Aigüeta d'Eriste valley, at an altitude of 2,150 m, at the foot of the Agulles del Forcau and in the municipality of Sahún (Huesca). It is built on the old Forcau refuge, which is preserved intact inside as a vestige of what it once was. L'Àngel Orús has been certified according to ISO 14001 since October 2003, which guarantees correct environmental management of the building.
From the terrace of the refuge you can enjoy spectacular views of the valley. Built around the old Forcau refuge, it preserves intact inside this emblematic refuge as a vestige of what it once was. Now the old Forcau is a modern building that offers all the comforts for a pleasant stay. The ISO 14001 certification was a pioneering experience in Spain and the Pyrenees in terms of mountain refuges, from which an environmental management model is committed with the installation of renewable energy sources, the usual practice of selective waste collection and environmental awareness campaigns.
