Oberweng is a popular starting point for hikes to the Gowilalm and further up to the Kleiner Pyhrgas. If you need some refreshment before or after the hike, then the Jausnstub'n Singerskogel is your adress. When preparing the food, the landlords Andrea and Josef attach great importance to the use of high-quality food. Incidentally, every first Sunday of the month there is a musician's and singer's regulars' table where enthusiastic musicians from the Garstner valley gather. It is open from Wednesday to Sunday from 1.30 pm, closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
