The so-called "Windlochkamm" is truly a beautiful section of the trail. You hike through a wonderful mixed beech forest and still have beautiful views in between. If you are on the way to the "Big Horseshoe" and come from Oberdambach, you can also look back there and be amazed at the distance you have already covered.
