From the 2096 meter high Schattberg west summit you have a stunning panorama that extends from the Hohe Tauern in the south to the northern edge of the Eastern Alps. The mountain is also great for biking and is the destination of the Schattberg circuit from Saalbach. The way down is then flowing on the Hacklberg Trail or technically on the Bergstadl Trail.
