At 1,992 meters, the Bosruck is the westernmost mountain in the Ennstal Alps on the border between Upper Austria and Styria. From here you can enjoy a great view of the limestone giant. It is separated from the main ridge of the Haller Walls by the Pyhrgasgatterl and forms its own, ridge-like mountain stock.

The Bosruckhütte (1,036 m) stands, flanked by the Großer Pyhrgas and Bosruck, in the Ennstal Alps in Upper Austria. It can be reached via Spital am Pyhrn in simple ways that parents can also walk with their children. Hikers, mountain bikers, snowshoe hikers and ski tourers stop in the hut, which the Pal family manages almost all year round.

The Bosruckhütte, located directly on the Klammbach, is managed by Nikoletta and Gabor Pal. There is space for around 45 guests inside and around 70 on the sun terrace. The Pal family cooks down-to-earth and offers classic hut cuisine. Soups such as cheese dumpling soup, main dishes such as schnitzel, roast pork, lentils with dumplings and cheese spaetzle as well as a fine selection of breads and sausages for snacks.

The hut is also a good place for children. The Klammbach and the nature surrounding the alpine house is a diverse and varied playground for little explorers.

The "bad back", where the name Bosruck originally comes from, towers impressively above Spital am Pyhrn and promises a top-class mountain experience from afar - over a demanding ridge with climbing passages, idyllic forest paths, a meadow with bizarre avalanche protection devices, right up to the great view Absolutely everything is offered on the Warscheneckstock, the Sengsengebirge and the large and small Pyhrgas!
