    Hiking

Rattlesnake Spring is a pretty reliable water source with clear, cold water. There was no rattlesnake present when I filled my water bottles though.
One of several good sources of water along the steep northern ascent on the PCT from Belden. The name is relevant: watch for snakes on and below the rocks!
