The Wedemhoveturm was built in the 15th century and is about 15 meters high with a diameter of 6 meters. In 1908, a stair tower was added to facilitate access. Today, the Wedemhoveturm is a popular destination for walkers and nature lovers. Since the 1980s, the nature and bird protection association Kreis Borken e.V. has been using the tower. The association uses the tower not only as a meeting place but also as a platform for environmental education and nature observation.

The Wedemhoveturm, commonly known as the Artist's Tower, has an outer diameter of 6 m and a height of 15 m. The walls are 1 m thick at the bottom and 0.80 m at the top. In 1908 the stair tower was added according to the suggestion of curator Sudhoff in Münster. The tower and stair tower were given a conical roof.
Today the Wedemhoveturm is used as a meeting place for the nature and bird protection association and is open to small art exhibitions.
