The Elbe Bridge Bad Schandau is a 268 m long road bridge on the federal highway 172, which spans the Elbe in Bad Schandau at river kilometer 11.53. The structure was erected in 1977 above the old Elbe bridge.

Every 10.5 m there is a support for the sub-tensioning on the superstructure with a concrete slab 25 cm thick. The clear distance to the bridge superstructure is a maximum of 3.28 m in the middle of the field.

The structure was built with a falsework in the edge areas; the cantilever cantilever guyed with an auxiliary pylon was used to open the stream.
