This is one of the Great Walks in New Zealand. In my opinion the best view is by kayak. You can rent boats for multiple day trips or do guided trips. There are water taxi options for return. Many of the bays are water only access.

The Awaroa Lodge at the top of the park has EFTPOS and great food.
