Hornöberget is the starting point of the Höga Kustenleden trails if you want to walk from south to north, arrival is by bus mgl. (We came from Stockholm-Arlanda airport, no train, no supermarket in the immediate vicinity, there is a hotel and a public toilet where you get drinking water, no campground / shelter but maybe his tent to set up). The same bus with which we arrived also goes to Örnsköldsvik (destination or starting point), so that you can get away from both ends of the trail very well (the bus does not travel very often, of course). In Örnsköldsvik you would also have the option to travel by train / rental car and supermarkets are there. Mgl. Gas for the stove to buy are rather bad in Hornöberget, we drove from the airport to the next city Märsta and have bought in the local sports shop what (the information at the airport information, best at the airport also get money, you can but also pay everything with a card)
Warning in advance: you have to adjust to the trail that you really have a lot of road / paved roads to run what I personally did not like, such sections I try to mark. You can skip those if you have little time.
