The builder of the church of St. Veit am Vogau was Joseph Hueber (1716 - 1787). The high altar is worth seeing. The altarpiece was created by Franz Xaver Palko in 1752, the sculptures are by Josef Schokotnigg and Veit Königer. The ceiling fresco above the organ shows Pope Pius X as a Styrian specialty and Karl Marx in the background.

Beautiful catholic church. The interior is distorted with innumerable statues as well as ceiling and murals. Very impressive.

Another special feature of this impressive church can be found in the newly worked ceiling painting. In addition to church motifs, Karl Marx is also presented here in a speech to some workers.
